Why not host a Saturday morning cartoon brunch, and deck out your space with some amazing Brunch Party Supplies? Even if there aren't any kids in attendance, it's a fun way to inject a bit of childishness into each of our lives, with little planning involved. Create your invitations from used cereal boxes, or cover plain cards with pictures of your favorite cartoon characters from when you were a kid. Start the party around 10:00am; late enough for everyone to sleep in, but still early enough to catch the best shows on the tube. Plan ahead by reviewing the TV lineup for the morning, or rent cartoons that were popular years ago. Decorate your space with lots of primary colors, blankets, napkins, and have some extra pajamas and slippers for anyone who forgets to come properly attired. Make sure that big bowls are in abundance! Offer up kids cereals such as Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs and Cheerios, with lots of kid-like fixings: sliced bananas, M&M's, sliced strawberries, blueberries, chopped nuts, mini-marshmallows, granola, and chocolate chips. Don't forget milk (with some chocolate syrup to make it even better!) and a bevy of juices as well: cranberry, grapefruit, orange and apple. And since everyone is probably a grown-up here, you'd probably want to put on a pot of coffee, too. For your goodie bags, hit your local dollar store for small lunch pails, and fill them with a single serving box of kids' cereal, a plastic spoon, and cartoon character figurines
