For a happening, peppy, spirit filled, and energy-filled party, there is nothing like a spirit filled cheerleading theme to get everyone into the spirit. Get ready for an overdose of pom-poms, cheers and of course- attitude. A good idea would be to get the school team spirit into the theme of the party by using the school colors and mascot. You could even ask the guests to dress up in their school team jerseys and T-shirts. To get the sport event feel at the party set up a concessions stand complete with peanuts and hot dogs. What is sure to get the little girls excited is if you could get a real cheerleader to drop by and teach the guests a few dance routines. The party favors could include anything that girls love- lip gloss, eye glitter, funky key-chains. And to give it a cheerleading touch, include a whistle and a little megaphone.

Cheerleading Game Ideas
Birthday Cheers: What better way to send the birthday girl a happy birthday wish than to send it in the form of a cheer.

Setup:
1. Gather paper, pens and music
2. Have a private room for each group
3. Make sure a boom box is available

Playing:
Break the girls into two groups and let them come up with a birthday cheer, moves and maybe a dance. Let them go into their separate rooms to come up with their ideas. It is best to keep the girls into groups because the major underlying theme of the party is “team”.

Have props available or willing to lend an ear or to offer your opinion because the girls will ask for it. Have a designated area where they can perform their cheer and routine for the other group and the birthday girl.
