Congratulations Games
CONGRATULATIONS REALLY? GAME: Give everyone a bag of candy, but ask them not to eat anything - yet. Then give each player a pen with one piece of paper. Ask them to write down two things about themselves on the paper: one should be true, the other not (but plausible). Attach the piece of paper square on each person's shirt. Then, everyone is to go around the room and figure out which is true and which isn't. If they get it right, they are given a candy. If they get it wrong, they give away a candy. By the time the Congratulations Party game is complete, you'll see just how well everyone knows each other by how big their bag of candy is
Why not whoop it up for a congratulatory party by pretending it’s the 20’s, instead of partying “like its 1999”, with some unique Congratulations Party Supplies? Prohibition was the key then, but you could get anything – for a price. Let your partygoers know they should dress up in costume (flappers for the dolls, zoot suits for the guys), and that they may have to work for their beer. Remember, in the 20’s bathtub gin ruled, and beer was difficult to get your hands on. Have older music playing in the background, with maybe some of Bogart’s older flicks playing to get the mood set.
