RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT: This game is a natural for a Disney Cars party. One child will start out as the policeman. This is best played outdoors with plenty of room. Set a definite finish line before the kids get started. The policeman stands a good distance from the rest of the kids, who should be in a line so they are all basically an equal distance from the policeman. The policeman faces the other kids and yells, "Green light" then turns away from them. The other kids start to walk as fast as they can towards the policeman. They cannot run only walk. The policeman then yells, "Red Light" and quickly turns around. The other children must freeze where they are. Any child who keeps moving is out. The policeman then alternates yelling green light to let the kids move forward and red light to freeze them. The first child to cross the finish line wins. You can hang pictures of the Disney Cars around the kids’ necks to add a little bit for fun.
