A Glee party is an awesome way to celebrate with friends all things Glee. Throwing a Glee party is incredibly simple and fun to do. Send out Glee invitations with all the proper information and directions (if needed) no earlier than one month prior to the Glee party. Send evites as well and call invited guests to ensure all know about the party.
Decorations: Once the invitations are sent then planning the decorations for the Glee party is the next step. Since Glee takes place in a high school, decorate the party area with as many high school decorations as possible such as trophies, cheerleading uniforms, pom-poms, backpacks, pennants, and sports jerseys. Use colorful balloons, streamers and tableware items such as paper plates, cups and napkins. Also, include high school cafeteria lunch trays to serve the food on.
Food: Include high school themed food such as green beans, tater tots, mashed potatoes, pizza, chicken pot pie, PB&J and purple slushies.
Music: There would be no Glee TV show without the music so include Glee-themed music tunes. Encourage guests to compete in a karaoke contest as well.
Activities: Create Glee trivia games testing the knowledge of guests Glee IQ. Have a purple slushy drink drink-off.
Costumes: Have guests dress up as favorite Glee characters for added enjoyment and fun. Mention on the invitations that guests are encourage dressing up as Glee characters. This will give guests enough time to find costume accessories and look like Glee characters perfectly.
Since Glee is all about singing and dancing, it’s the perfect theme for that next upcoming party celebration. You can have so many activities and they can be made from home free of cost. Start with the simple games, then challenge your guests with trivia games, and reward the game winners.
