When planning a school party, the theme and School Party Supplies are of the utmost importance. Your idea may already be provided for you because of the occasion you are celebrating: a holiday, special event or yearly celebration. But what if you are celebrating something more run-of-the-mill. Maybe your class has just finished a really long segment that they worked hard on, or they reached a long-awaited fundraising goal. Party themes for these types of events aren't as obvious, although they can be a riot to come up with. Start with easy school party theme choices, such as a carnival, picnic, Olympics, or tea. Perhaps a certain character lends itself to the theme instead, such as a famous historical figure. Or perhaps the party theme can be directly tied into the segment that just finished up. For instance, a class may have finished up something to do with dinosaurs, archeology or Neolithic Man; the themes you could use for each of these instances would be similar, and yet a lot of fun (plus a great way to see just how much the kids learned!). Once you've come up with a theme, you'll need to pick a location and time for the school party. To make life easier, try and plan the school party at a time when you won't be expected to serve food, and make it only a maximum of two hours long. Therefore, a time slot of say 1:00pm to 3:00pm is ideal. As for a location, try and find a one-stop party place for the event, such as a science center, museum, or amusement park, keeping in mind the theme of the party you've chosen.
