| A fun theme for a Work Party is 'In the Army Now', which could easily be held at a ranch, country fair, or picnic space, using appropriately themed Work Party Supplies. Mind you, any large outdoor space would work. Create obstacle courses for both the adults and kids in attendance, making it mandatory for everyone (who is physically able) to go through it before entering into the actual party space. Inside, have bungee jumping and paintball games available. Decorations should be as minimal as possible, with a camouflaged theme. Try serving food on metal trays (although I'd hope you'd offer more than Army rations to your 'troops'!). | |

Work IdeasRAISING CANE WORK PARTY GAME: Purchase a 6 foot long cane for each Work Party team (groups of 4-6 are best) playing this game. Make sure it is 6 feet long, or else the game will not work properly. Ask the group to stand facing each other. Then, they are to put one hand out at waist level, with their index (pointing) finger extended. The cane is to be placed on only their fingers. The goal of the game is to lower the cane to the floor, using only their index fingers. If anyone is actually able to do this (it's extremely difficult!), then that team wins. |
A work party should include a variety of foods and activities to ensure a good time by all.
